Yoga is an ancient art designed to liberate the mind. It is much more than just asanas (postures) and as humans we are much more than just a mind and body; we have a strong spiritual and heart intelligence that has been largely ignored in today's Western Society. Developing your spiritual growth leads to less tensión, fear, anxiety, depression and addictions......And more calmness, gratitude, love and connection to your centre.
In these classes we look at the 2,500 year old ancient science of yoga in practical, easy to follow steps encouraging you on an inward journey to your centre. Instead of just focusing on the physical aspect of yoga and improving our physical well being, we will look at our emotional, mental and spiritual health to develop a deep sense of inner peace and contentment. There will be plenty of movement through Asana and flow to keep you physically fit.
You will be encouraged to leave behind old behaviour patterns and beliefs as you recieve insights to who you really are. These classes will lead you to 'feel' rather than 'think', helping you become less reactive whilst developing a true sense of purpose and harmony in your life.
Through conscious breathing, self study, philosophy, balancing your energetic body, reflection, positive affirmations, a disciplined Asana practise and deep relaxation you will cultivate a greater awareness of yourself and the world around you; you'll have a calmer mind, increased inner peace and obtain a 'lighter' energetic vibration making you appear and feel younger, happier and freer.
