My Journey

I began studying yoga at 16 with my mother. During this time it helped me stay (relatively!) calm and centred during the turbulent teenage years.

At 18, I left England for Africa and went on to spend a large part of the following 15 years traveling the world. From the Jungles of South America and the Hills of New Zealand; to the vast Plains of Africa, I practised and studied taking inspiration from my surroundings and the inspiring people I met on my journey.

I qualified as an Iyengar yoga teacher at 21, making me the youngest Iyengar teacher in the UK at that time.

I spent time studying at the renowned Iyengar institute in Pune, India and went on to open and run the first Iyengar Yoga Centre in Sevilla, Spain. Since then I have left the Iyengar association, these days I combine the prescion and discipline of an Iyengar practise with the playfulness and creativity of Vinyasa Flow. My teaching and practise is constatly evolving and changing; as I do on my journey through life.

I am a registered SYT (Senior Yoga teacher) with Yoga Alliance UK.

My style is fun and challenging yet precise and thorough. I take my inspiration from a number of wonderful teachers but mainly from my incredible students ranging fom children and teenagers; to experienced yogis and most recently a number of teachers.

In 2012, along with Jo Elvin, I created a yoga style especially for teenagers - Yoga Rebels. She continues to train teachers in this style, bringing yoga to hundreds of teenagers throughout schools in London and the Home Counties

I normally run three retreats a year in exotic and inspiring locations throughout the world. Check out my retreat videos for a look at previous retreats.

I now have three children and we live in Portugal   I'm trying to use my yoga practise and knowledge to be the best Mum I possibly can.

"I feel so blessed to live a life I love.  On top of teaching the yoga asanas, I want to encourage my students  to be brave and daring in their lives, to dig deeper and not be afraid to live the life they dream about

Namaste x "
